    Local 776 Retirements
    08/16/25 - Teamsters Local 776
    Recently, two Local 776 members retired after both amassing over thirty years of service. The Members worked in different industries: freight and airline maintenance. Still, both attest to their longevity at their respective employers because of being Teamsters and working under exceptional contracts, earning good wages, benefits, and having outstanding representation.

    Good afternoon, we are pleased to announce that we have received over 250 RSVPS for the picnic. Which is double what we had last year. Since we are going to have such a great turnout, we will be over max capacity at the pavilions. So we are asking members to bring a camping chair with them just encase we run out of seating.     Friends, We gathered this morning (and later at 12:00 pm) to remember and honor Gerry Horgan.  The Local 1103 Executive Board visited the Gerry Horgan Garage in Greenburgh, (White Plains) NY and spoke about his passing on August 15, 1989, which occurred as a result of a scab hitting him with a car on a picket line during the strike.
