Eligibility Criteria:
Curriculum Major: Open
Grade Point Average: 2.50 or Higher
Enrollment Status: Full-time enrollment (12 or
more credit hours)
Other:
-Maybe a child or grandchild of an active Local 231 member
-Be a High School or GED graduate (Verification required)
-One letter of recommendation only for all first year applicants from a school authority.
-Written statement explaining what the applicant wishes to
accomplish by attending a junior or full-time college
and pointing out those extracurricular activities in which
the applicant has participated.
-Must be present at Scholarship dinner to receive your award.
APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE IN THE LABORERS’ LOCAL 231 OFFICE BEGINNING
APRIL 1, 2017.
RETURN COMPLETED MATERIALS TO LABORERS’ LOCAL 231 HALL,
2503 BROADWAY, PEKIN, ILLINOIS, BY JUNE 1, 2017 OR IT WILL BE DENIED. or
